R - Reception Class

Spring Term 2008

We watched some video clips about Chinese New Year and decided to have our own little celebration in Class R.

- We read a story about the Jade Emperor and the Chinese calendar
- We made masks
- We made lanterns
- We made music
- We went on a New Year parade around the school
- We tasted foods
