Our aim for Design and Technology is to encourage children's creativity and encourage them to think about important issues. D&T develops children's knowledge and skills in structures, mechanisms/mechanical systems, cooking and nutrition, textiles and electrical systems (KS2 only). We follow the 'Design, Make and Evaluate' approach as set out in the National Curriculum and use Kapow Primary for our lessons, which creates exciting, hands on and varied lessons.
