Art & Design
Our aim, for Art and Design, is to have a focus on the children’s creative journey. We want our pupils to be creative, confident, imaginative and independent artists who can articulate and value their own creative journeys. We want our children to get away from the fixed mindset of: you are either good at art or you are not. Everyone is an artist. We develop this through engaging hands on lessons, where children and staff are encouraged to take artistic risks and to be expressive. Access Art enables us to help the children progress different artistic skills through varied and interesting lessons.
